
ABOUT MONKEYMAC
MonkeyMac is a performance company that creates original work on stage and screen.
Started by George Coates and Sam Gibbons in 2013 in their second year at Brunel University, MonkeyMac’s early work included sketch comedy filmed at Pinewood Studios, the short film Bearhug (2014), and a radio show on campus.
In 2017 MonkeyMac took the new play Talkabout to New York City (The Riant Theatre, off Broadway at the Strawberry One Act Festival), Greenside @Infirmary Street, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and The Rosemary Branch Theatre, London.
MonkeyMac‘s recent credits include That Could Be A Sketch! (2021), The M&SM Show (2021) and Not Remotely Funny (2020).
